ADMA adds eBay Australia, Omnicom Media Group, News Corp Australia and PwC Australia to board

The Association of Data Driven Marketing has appointed new members to its board following its annual general meeting.

The AGM took place on Thursday

The new members add brand giants eBay Australia, Omnicom Media Group, News Corp Australia and PwC Australia to the ADMA stable.

“We will have more online retail, media services, digital and multi-platform media experience at our table. I’m confident these four people will make strong contributions to the marketing and advertising industry as we continue to support ADMA CEO Jodie Sangster and her team in their work of building value for our 550 corporate members through events, education, thought leadership and best practice,” said Karen Ganschow, Chair of the ADMA board.

CEO Jodie Sangster said: “We are bringing on some extremely experienced, seasoned marketers. I look forward to working with them over the next few years and to having the continued support from all the ADMA board directors as we continue to bring great programs to Australian marketers and advertisers and strengthen our numerous partnerships here in Australia and globally.”

The new board members are Steve Brennan, marketing and advertising sales director, eBay Australia; Leigh Terry, CEO-Omnicom Media Group, Australia and New Zealand; Damian Eales, group marketing director, News Corp Australia; and Jason Juma-Ross, national leader, Digital Change-Digital Intelligence, PwC Australia.

Stepping down from the board:

• Mark Willson, Director-Marketing and Communications, IBM Australia and New Zealand (past Vice Chair)

• Richard Umbers, Executive General Manager, Parcel and Express Services, Australia Post.

• Phillip Offer, Former Vice President, Mobility and Convergence, Optus

• Phillip Smith, Managing Director, Apparent (past Treasurer).

The 2013-14 ADMA board will now comprise:
