Lowe Campbell Ewald, the US arm for the Lowe and Partners global network, has opened an office in New York City as the agency looks to expand its US footprint having established hubs in Detroit, Los Angeles and San Antonio.

Opening in January 2014, the Manhattan office is being led by Sal Taibi, most recently general manager at sister agency, Deutsch New York.

Taibi reports to CEO Jim Palmer, who said: “Our new presence in New York speaks to the commitment we have to Lowe and the momentum our agencies are building together.

“Our New York office will bolster our national footprint from coast to coast. With offices in Detroit, Los Angeles, San Antonio and now New York, plus Lowe’s international talent and distribution channels, Lowe Campbell Ewald is poised to better help clients navigate the ever-evolving global media and marketing environment.”

The move comes after it was announced in July this year that Campbell Ewald would become the US hub for the Lowe and Partners Worldwide network. The network has already announced account wins including Cadillac, Atkins, Western Governors University and the Detroit Lions.

Clients serviced from the New York office will include Cadillac as well as those Taibi and his team have previously worked with.
