Infographic: Over 60% of email marketers admit they could do better

A survey of over 1,300 marketers found that 61 per cent admit that their performance is ‘poor’ or ‘average’, with only four per cent describing themselves as ‘excellent’.

The Adestra/Econsultancy Email Marketing Industry Census 2013 also found that 12 per cent said they spent no time on their strategy, with 27 per cent also admitting to spending no time optimising emails.

The research discovered that less than a third (29 per cent) had a mobile email strategy in place.
