Google has announced the launch of Chrome for iPhone and iPad, in the same week that the Android version exited beta.

This launch will mean that people who are signed into Chrome can send things across their desktop, laptop, smartphone and tablet by syncing the devices.

Brian Rakowski, vice president of Chrome, said during its launch yesterday at the Google I/O developer conference that the browser would provide a "silky smooth experience" that “makes browsing the Web on your iPhone really fun”.
