WPP has announced the merger of global strategic communications company Hill+Knowlton with the PBN Company, after it acquired a further 25.1% stake in PBN.

The move brings WPP’s holdings in the company up to 75%, having initially bought just under half of communications company PBN’s shares in 2007.

The two will now combine their operating strategies in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and throughout the CIS, while operating as PBN Hill+Knowlton Strategies.

PBN has offices in Moscow, Kyiv, Almaty and Washington DC, where PBN's existing operations will share offices with Hill+Knowlton Strategies.
