Viacom names 2011 MTV EMA sponsors

Dell, Replay, Hyundai and Swatch have been named as the official sponsor of the 2011 MTV European Music Awards.Taking place on November 6 at the Odyssey Arena, Belfast, the event will be broadcast live to a potential audience of 240m homes in 40 separate countries.

The sponsorship package will see the brands featured on all promotional activity in the build up to the awards ceremony; including on-air billboards, marketing and press materials and a presence on the EMA microsite.

Each brand is utilising the awards as a means to promote its latest wares with Hyundai introducing audiences to its latest sports coupe, the Veloster.

Replay meanwhile will be introducing its denim range to the coveted youth market whilst Dell will underline the parallels between music and technology whilst Swatch will use the occasion to evolve its MTV Playground initiative.
