Microsoft will tonight launch its new multi-million pound ad campaign for Windows 7, designed to highlight the diverse range of exciting and innovative PCs available in stores.

Continuing its ‘I’m a PC’ campaign, the ad, which debuts on Channel 4 at 6:15pm, is the first in a series of 30 second spots scheduled to run through June.

The campaign by Crispin Porter + Bogusky runs across TV, radio, print, online, social and experiential.

She continued: “There really are beautiful and stylish PCs in glorious colour, touchscreen PCs and tablets, lightweight and compact options for frequent travellers and even 3D PCs for gaming and movie buffs.

“Often, it’s fear of the unknown that puts people off upgrading their PC. By tackling the anxieties and apprehensions real people have, we feel that we’re reigniting the excitement people feel for their PC and putting it at the heart of the home again.”
