ITV looking at 20% advertising increase around Royal Wedding
ITV is expecting its advertising to increase by as much as 20% in April due to the impact of the forthcoming Royal Wedding.
Sources from within the industry have claimed that the four-day celebrations around the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton will prompt brands to advertise, with an increase of 19% in year-on-year figures.
Such a rise would follow in estimated increase in advertising for the first quarter of 2011 of 8%.
