A new campaign for made-to-measure blind specialist Hillarys Blinds will begin on British TV today, created by Uber, the first non-direct response TV campaign launched by the brand.

The agency was commissioned at the end of last year to spearhead the campaign, and has created brand guidelines incorporating a new design style for all customer communication which will be transferred across all TV, DM and press advertising.

The two 30 second commercials will aim to expand the brand’s target audience and will run until May.

Helen Turnbull, customer communications manager said: “We approached Uber as they have a wealth of retail experience and produce commercials that as a brand we could relate to. We wanted the Uber team to help Hillarys move forward into unchartered territory and we are extremely happy with the results so far and are confident we’ll achieve the desired goals.”
