Across the company all Barr employees will be encouraged to develop their own fundraising initiatives and get involved in the work of The Trust.

A.G.Barr chief executive Roger White, said: “At Barr’s we have always tried to make a positive difference in the communities in which our operations are based, particularly in Scotland, by supporting many local good causes, fundraising activities and charity organisations over the years. We fully intend to continue this important support."

White continued, “Our partnership with The Prince’s Trust is about us helping and supporting some of our less fortunate young people who may be struggling in life. As a national youth charity, The Trust will enable us to do this in a more coordinated way so that we can fully engage and encourage all of our staff across the UK to get involved in the partnership. We are looking forward to developing a long term relationship with the Trust and supporting the various projects that we will be involved with”.
