Global platform agency FFW strengthens its UK presence
FFW has acquired digital marketing agency Yours Truly. The move fortifies FFW’s offer across the entire digital value chain and grows the company to around 800 employees. Here’s everything you need to know.
Michael Drejer, founder of FFW, sees great potential in the UK market
FFW has started 2023 with a strong focus on the British market. The world’s leading digital platform and product developer has once again bolstered its UK teams, underlining its position as a trusted digital partner for international players.
“We’ve been successfully operating within the British market since 2015,” says Michael Drejer, FFW CEO. “Nevertheless, we’re still seeing significant demand when it comes to supporting international corporations with digitalizing their organizations. That represents enormous potential for us.”
FFW covers the entire spectrum of digital services, from strategy and design to user experience, development and technology. Clients include large international corporations that tailor their products and services to a wide variety of target audiences and markets, including more than 20 Fortune 2000 companies (the world’s biggest firms), such as the world’s largest pharmaceutical company and one of the most high profile recruitment agencies.
To further broaden its position, FFW took a majority shareholding in the German creative agency Yours Truly on 1 February 2023. The company has made a name for itself as a digital brand communications specialist and works for the likes of Arla Foods,
Chupa Chups and TUI Cruises. The acquisition will help FFW expand its range of services to now cover the entire digital value chain: strategy, brand building and campaigns on everything from technology and development to performance and client communications. The result? A company with almost 800 employees helping to support organizations with their digital transformations, meeting all the demands of modern, digital marketing.
“Experts in digital marketing, Yours Truly perfectly fills the gap we’ve been grappling with in recent years,” explains Michael Drejer, FFW Group CEO. “With all these new skills, we won’t just be fully serving our existing clients, but we’ll also be able to develop further growth potential in new markets and industries. For us, this acquisition is a logical response to the convergence of marketing and technology”.
This is just another chapter in FFW’s growth plan. The Group increased its 2022 turnover to €88m in total, up 55%. Last year, the company also signed a multi-year contract worth several million euros with Germany’s biggest television broadcasting company, ZDF. The broadcaster’s digital transformation will help lead it into a new digital age.
FFW was founded in Copenhagen in 2000. With 20 locations in 11 different countries – including the USA, the UK and France, as well as Ukraine and Vietnam – the company has grown into a respectable player. Clients such as General Electric, Leica, Panasonic and TUI Cruises value FFW’s expertise. The fact that every single company that works with FFW places a second order after their first speaks volumes about the tech specialists.
