Big FM partners with streaming site Songdew on music and ads

Indian radio network Big FM has entered into a strategic partnership with online music publishing platform Songdew with the aim to offer advertising solutions.

As part of the partnership, Songdew will be Big FM's official music partner. Big FM will further create original music and will identify new talent and will promote them through Songdew platform.

According to Sunil Kumaran, country head, Thwink BIG, Big FM wants to leverage its hold in the music market with Songdew Media’s talent and production capabilities to offer audience engagement opportunities.

"An industry-first initiative, the partnership will offer new avenues for our advertisers seeking to tap into a diverse audience, including millennials on radio and digital,” he added.

Sandip Tarkas, director, Songdew Media said: “Big FM is a prestigious platform and with both our objectives aligned towards creating good music and promoting new talent, it makes for an apt partnership. We look forward to do great work together and replicate our successful association built during Benadryl BIG Golden Voice Season 5.”

Big FM recently named Shipra Srivastava as national marketing head.
