Organic opens LA Office and adds Frank Dattalo as executive creative director

Omnicom-owned digital marketing agency, Organic Inc, has opened a new office in Los Angeles, and with it has appointed Frank Dattalo as executive creative director. The agency has also named Jennifer Kohler as senior vice president, client services and office lead.

Dattalo will lead Organic’s LA creative team, reporting to Chris Kelly, the agency’s chief creative officer, while Kohler will report to chief executive David Shulman. In his new role, Dattalo will drive creative for agency clients serviced out of LA, including AT&T.

Dattalo, an integrated creative director and designer, most recently served as creative director at R/GA LA where he led the agency’s Nike account, which won a D&AD Pencil for their campaign featuring Kyrie Irving. His work has been recognized at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity, The One Show, The Art Directors Club and the Clio Awards, to name a few.

Kohler will be tasked with leading the AT&T business as well as building out the agency’s new team in Los Angeles. Most recently at Doner in Detroit, Kohler served as senior vice president, brand leadership, where she led integrated teams across the agency’s client portfolio. Prior to that, she held positions at Organic Detroit and DigitasLBi Detroit. She has helped drive business for brands including ADT, JBL, Harman Professional, and Coca-Cola’s Simply Beverages.

Kohler noted: “As someone who knows first-hand of the great work and talent Organic nurtures, I was compelled to return in this new capacity at such a pivotal time and help the team build a presence at the epicenter of culture, technology and trends.”

The agency also announced additional new roles, including Dan Bollin as vice president, strategy and planning tasked with leading the strategy practice for all client work coming out of the New York office, and Katerina McCarthy, elevated to New York office lead.
