Her debut column in The Dish Christmas edition will be published this Sunday (4 December), as part of 56-page glossy festive edition of the magazine that will also feature columns from chef Jamie Oliver and food blogger Esther Walker.

As part of the partnership Brown will also record a video series for The Dish sharing tips on how to make her recipes.

The signing follows a string of high-profile hires at the publisher, in November appointing Elle UK's editor Lorraine Candy to become The Sunday Times' first luxury content director and editor in chief for its fashion supplement Style.

The news comes a day after The Times announced it was reviving its quarterly luxury magazine Luxx with former Esquire editor Jeremy Langmead at the helm.

Laurel Ives, editor of The Dish said: "Baking for family and friends is all important to Candice, and I'm delighted to say that from now on she'll be sharing those much loved recipes with the readers of The Sunday Times."

Candice Brown said: "I feel very privileged to be able to share my ideas and recipes with the readers of The Sunday Times. It's so exciting to see my recipes in print and hope you enjoy making them as much as I have enjoyed creating them!"
