Full service agency Zest has entered into an exclusive working partnership with multi award-winning tech entrepreneur Ben Towers. Ben's accolades include number 1 on the Times Super Teen Power List 2015 (billed as ‘The 15 smartest kids on the planet’) and being recognised as "one of UK's most exciting entrepreneurs" by Richard Branson.

Towers will help to grow the new PR offering of Zest, where the team now number five people. He joins new appointment, former The Sun royal and defence editor Duncan Larcombe and Gail James, former PR Manager for The Historic Dockyard, whose career successes include securing locations for TV shows such as the Antiques Road Show and Call the Midwife.

Towers’ skills will be focused on helping to reach and influence the behaviours of consumers - particularly young people - and create and build advocacy in Zest's client brands. He will also work with the team training clients in how to manage, engage and deal with crisis situations across social media channels.

Zest managing director Belinda Collins said: "Our collaboration with Ben strengthens the Zest offering to deliver the best to our clients, ensuring the impact and reach of campaigns not only drive maximum return but influence the audience to become ambassadors of the brand. Ben’s experience engaging with the millennial generation across digital channels brings insight and expertise to Zest’s client brands.

“Together our strategy will build and create advocacy for brands, which is of increasing importance when speaking to the next generation of consumer – the millennials – who rely on reviews, influencer endorsement and their ‘feeling’ of a brand, which is gauged by conversations, mostly had via social media. I’m very excited to be able to introduce our client’s to Ben and look forward to seeing the results of what we can accomplish together.”

Ben added: “I'm super excited to be working alongside Zest to share my knowledge as a young influencer in marketing. Zest is a large, established agency and I’m keen to work with their clients to help companies in pioneering approaches to successful marketing and PR campaigns.”

Zest is based in Kent, England, and works with clients including DS Virgin Racing, Southeastern and Rodenstock Eyewear.
