10-year-old wins $10k prize after spotting Instagram bug
A 10-year-old Finnish boy has become the youngest ever recipient of Instagram's "bug bounty" prize.
Jani, from Finland, received the prize after spotting bug on the image-sharing app. He reported it to Instrgram owner Facebook, which, after verifying and then fixing the bug, offered the reward.
Speaking to Finnish newspaper Iltalehti, Jani said he would be spending the prize on a new bike, football equipment and computers for his brothers.
Despite finding the bug, 10-year-old Jani is still not old enough to join Instagram where users need to be at least 13-years-old.
