Tait, who joined as media director for Unilever UK last year from Kellogg's will lead the judging for the awards judging which will take place in the coming weeks.

The awards, sponsored by iStock by Getty Images, are open to advertising agencies, in-house marketing teams, design consultancies, digital agencies, PR companies, integrated agencies and any company that has carried out marketing over the eligibility period.

Work can be entered across a number of categories, including advertising strategy of the year, best use of data, global brand strategy of the year and marketing agency of the year.

This year's crop of judges include top marketers from brands including Visa, BT Business, Three and Heinz.

The Drum previously spoke to Nick Jones, head of digital communications and corporate responsibility at Visa, who revealed he was most interested in the social media campaigns that would be submitted but warned of entries that “indulged in binge marketing”.

Nominations will be announced on 23 March with the awards ceremony to take place on Tuesday 3 May at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel, London.
