Yahoo names former JCPenney CMO Debra Berman SVP of consumer marketing
Debra Berman, who left her role as chief marketing officer (CMO) of JCPenney earlier this year, has been chosen to serve as Yahoo’s first-ever senior vice president of consumer marketing.

She will begin her new role on 6 July and will oversee product marketing, help drive audience engagement, and lead consumer brand strategy.
Yahoo’s CMO and head of media announced Berman’s appointment in a company Tumblr post.
Before joining JCPenney, Berman served as vice president of marketing strategy and engagement for Kraft Foods.
She will relocate to California with her family and will work at Yahoo’s headquarters in Sunnyvale.
