JCPenney chief marketing officer, Deb Berman, resigns
Chief marketing officer (CMO) of JCPenney, Deb Berman, has resigned.

Berman was responsible for popular slogan, “When it fits you feel it.”It seems however, that Berman wasn’t “feeling” her time at the retailer.
"We can confirm that Deb Berman, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for JCPenney, has made the decision to leave the Company," a spokesperson for JC Penney told The Drum. "JCPenney is grateful for her service, and we wish her well in all future endeavors."
Berman joined the struggling department store in 2013 under Chief Michael Ullman who had been trying to rebuild the brand.
While the reason for Berman's resignation is still unknown, JCPenney has continued to struggle to rebuild, reporting a nine per cent drop in stock prices last quarter.
CMO of @jcpenney, architect of "When it fits, you feel it" ads, leaving after less than 2 years. Guess she just wasn't feeling it anymore.

The Drum understands that the search for a replacement is already underway.
