Whyte & Mackay partners with 5pm.co.uk to target restuarant-goers
Whyte & Mackay has joined forces with restaurant booking website 5pm.co.uk to offer a free dram of whisky to customers.
Beginning Monday (4 May), those who book via 5pm.co.uk will receive a dram of Whyte & Mackay Special Blended Scotch Whisky at 100 participating restaurants across Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Whyte & Mackay on-trade director, Phil Keene, said the partnership was a way to “encourage consumers to try our whisky” and provides an “innovative way to target them in the on trade environment".
“5pm is the ideal outlet to get Whyte & Mackay into the hands of our target audience in the perfect restaurant setting,” he said.
Charles Shaw, chairman of 5pm, added: "Whyte & Mackay as a brand fits our ethos perfectly, as our users will have the opportunity to experience an award winning whisky in the perfect restaurant setting from one of Scotland's most prestigious distilleries.”
