The Sunday Times has reimagined some of the UK’s most famous faces as yo-yos, ahead of the publication’s annual Rich List.

Working with Grey London, part of WPP’s Team News, this year’s advertising theme is ‘who’s up, who’s down’ and features Victoria Beckham, Sir Elton John, Rory McIlroy and Lewis Hamilton among others.

“This year the advertising campaign has focused on the inherent interest our readers have in discovering who's up and who's down in The Sunday Times Rich List,” explained Nick Stringer, chief creative officer at News UK.

“We've taken illustrated caricatures of some of the more famous and recognisable names on the list, and through Grey London created another playful and engaging campaign to celebrate the definitive guide to the nation's wealth and spark interest in this year's movers and shakers.”

The Rich List, due to be published Sunday 26 April, is supported by a marketing and communications campaign spanning outdoor, radio, in-paper, online, print, POS as well as PR and social media.
