Havas Media Group has appointed Andrew Goode to head up its UK programmatic team for its global trading desk Affiperf.

Andrew Goode

Goode, who was previously co-founder and chief operating officer of ad verification specialist Project Sunblock, will manage a team of UK programmatic traders responsible for audience planning and optimisation across a range of clients.

During his career he has specialised in creating ad verification for media trading and has worked with major clients including Microsoft and WPP’s Group M. Prior to Project Sunblock he founded Clickbrokers, a digital advertising network specialising in click-based campaigns.

Lawrence Taylor, global head of Affiperf said: "Andrew is a great addition to the team. His past experience in ad verification and viewability will help reinforce our lead in this space. Andrew will help us raise our profile and boost senior level engagement for our clients in the UK."

Goode added: “My remit at Affiperf is an exciting one. There is currently a huge opportunity to drive and grow programmatic ad spend. The smooth integration of data and creative solutions with content partnership initiatives will be my initial primary focus.”

He began his media career at Carlton Interactive (ITV) in 2000 before working in the sales teams at Future Publishing and Quantum Publishing. He later graduated from Sandhurst Military Academy in December 2002 and became a captain in the Royal Military Police. He was deployed to Iraq in 2004 as a Platoon Commander, responsible for training police forces in South Basra.

He will take up his role from this month.
