Cuprinol has asserted its credentials as an authority in garden colour building on last year’s ‘Cheer it up’ messaging for 2015.

Working with 18 Feet & Rising the garden woodcare specialist has released an advertising creative designed to encourage Brits to transform sheds and fences into beautiful, brighter outdoor spaces with ease using its new ‘Spray and Brush’ offering.

Kay Bartlett, Cuprinol senior brand manager, commented: “Cuprinol is always looking for innovative ways to simplify the application process for our users and we’re pleased to introduce Spay & Brush as a unique product that will revolutionise how people apply paint to their garden wood. Our new television campaign will make people smile and demonstrates how easy it is to add splashes of colour to garden wood in time for summer.”

The TV advert is the directorial debut from A-Game and Louis Jopling at 18 Feet & Rising.

Of the ad creative director, A-Game, said: “We wanted this film to reflect that Sunday morning DIY feeling. Sunshine, good songs and the new Cuprinol ‘Spray & Brush’ making the job easier. The whole spirit of the ad reflects the campaign line 'Cheer it Up' and little touches like the cat wearing a denim jacket bring out the playfulness of the couple.”

Mediacom has handled media planning and buying for the campaign.
