Owner and manager of regional shopping centres intu has named Frame Group as its retained creative agency in the UK.

The appointment sees the Glasgow-based creative marketing agency handed responsibility for projecting a single, unified voice for intu's national brand across its 15 branded centres.

Trevor Pereira, commercial and digital director of intu, commented: “We want every customer to have a memorable experience with a desire to stay longer and return often and, in turn, for our retailers to flourish. Frame is a company that understands the importance our brand has in this relationship with our key audiences.”

Gary O’Donnell, managing director of Frame Group, added: “Having worked with intu over the past two years we’ve really enjoyed being a part of the team. We’re absolutely delighted to be appointed as the single agency responsible for intu’s national campaigns. They’re a terrific client to have as they truly understand – and invest in – the development of the intu brand and have a real focus on compelling customer experiences.”

Currently intu owns and operates nine of the top 20 retail and leisure destinations in the UK with 400m customer visits to its centres including intu Trafford Centre, intu Lakeside and intu Braehead each year.
