Thomas Pink has opened an outlet in Heathrow’s Terminal 2 which has embraced digital in a bid to offer customers a more interactive experience.

Having partnered with Red Ant, the store encourages visitors to use the large Microsoft Surface interactive tablet.

Via the tablet they can design their own shirts using the Personally Pink service, or watch clips on Pink TV, a channel dedicated to showing all the latest brand videos.

There is also access to a global guide lookbook, map, store and weather information, flipbook brand brochures and the retailer’s Facebook and Twitter feeds.

‘Thomas Pink has always taken pride in our commitment to first-class service – we have a long history of delivering the best quality products with meticulous attention to the needs of our customers,” said the brand’s head of e-commerce, Chaten Uberoi .

“Working with Red Ant to install the latest interactive technology in our new T2 store has allowed us to continue this tradition, with a clear focus on the customer as well as the future of our in-store operations.’

Thomas Pink is the latest retailer to launch in Heathrow’s T2 since it opened earlier this month. Last week, Heston Blumenthal also opened The Perfectionists’ Café in the building.
