McDonald’s is showcasing how it is there for its customers any time of the day or night with the latest instalment of the ‘Favourites’ brand campaign.

Created by Leo Burnett, the ‘Hunter Gatherer’ creative tells the story of a young father-to-be out on a late night hunt to find something to satisfy his partner’s cravings. Running around the city he seems to be out of luck as shops, newsagents and garages wind down for the night, until he spots a 24-hour branch of the fast food restaurant.

Directed by James Rouse of Outsider a 40 second iteration will run on TV with a longer 60 second version devised for online. Laurie Smith and Steve Robertson created the ad with Matt Lee and Pete Heyes serving as creative director.
