Mediacom associate planning director Petia Nedeltcheva joins Rapp Media

Former Mediacom associate planning director Petia Nedeltcheva has moved to Rapp Media to take on the role of media strategist, boosting the agency’s strategy team.

At Mediacom Nedeltcheva worked across the Mars chocolate portfolio and prior to that held the role of strategy director at Mindshare Sydney, taking responsibility for Kimberly-Clark’s comms strategies across Australia.

“Petia has extensive experience in communications planning across all channels for big global brands. This complements our ability to use data within our media strategies to understand exactly which experiences influence the customer at every touch point along the purchase journey,” remarked Rapp Media MD Ian Maynard.

As media strategist Nedeltcheva is tasked with delivering media strategies that drive acquisition, response and awareness across online and offline channels for Rapp Media clients such as TUI Specialist Holidays Group brands, Open University and Allergan amongst others. Reporting to Paul Phillips, head of media strategy, Nedeltcheva will also work on integrated clients for Rapp UK clients including Guide Dogs, AkzoNobel (Dulux) and Google alongside Rapp’s creative and data agencies.

Nedeltcheva added: “Rapp Media’s ability to infuse online, search and traditional media planning with its vast data capabilities puts it at a distinct advantage when developing strategies that put the consumer at the heart of them. Couple this with the opportunity to be integrated with one of the most established creative agencies in the UK and this is a hugely exciting place to be.”

Rapp Media has also announced the appointment of Freya Broaders to the role of junior client strategist joining after more than three years with home media specialist Kinetic.
