Ad of the Day: Elsa Schiaparelli - Famous Firsts
Watch out Karl Lagerfeld Chanel rival brand, and adversary of Coco herself, Elsa Schiaparelli is back after a 60 year hiatus.
The Italian brand's much anticipated return to the couture catwalk at Paris Fashion Week comes more than half a century after Schiaparelli's final show in 1954, and 40 years after her death.
To support the relaunch, art director and filmmaker Christian Borstlap has collaborated with creative production company The Ambassadors to create a contemporary animated film illustrating the brand's fashion firsts, from sportswear to Haute Couture, prints, colours, shapes, fragrances and more.
We love a good comeback story and when it's as creative as this we can't wait to see what comes next.
