Paddy Power has kicked off its latest campaign to promote its new ‘super fast’, personalised betting app Paddy Power Messenger.

The brand worked with the If agency on the launch campaign, which spans national press print ads, outdoor, and online advertising, all geared towards encouraging downloads and installs of the app.

The If agency has also created a video tutorial, which is embedded into the app to show users how to use it.

Paddy Power Messenger is designed to provide an individually tailored experience to the user. Once downloaded a person can choose their favourite football teams, leagues, horses, jockey, trainers or racecourses to follow, and will receive messages and updates on all developments and bets related to those areas.

The aim is to put them ahead of the crowd when it comes to placing bets on the sports they most care about.

Users can manage what messages are sent to them via the app, and can opt to receive reminders on their preferred sports, and receive live text commentary on football matches.

The app also features short cuts which let users check their account balance, request odds or withdraw cash. They can also access all Paddy power specials and can set how long they want to be logged in for.

Currently the bookmaker is promoting an additional £10 free bet to anyone placing a £10 bet.

The app can be download from the App Store today.
