International brand consulting firm for strategy, design and communications Landor Associates has announced that Florian Schültke is to take over as MD of its Hamburg office.

Schültke takes over the managing director role from Jane Geraghty, president EMEA, who held the role in an acting capacity after the departure of Felix Stöckle in late June.

Schültke’s most recent role saw him heading up the Berlin office of TBWA, whilst also running Tequila in Düsseldorf, TBWA’s subsidiary for dialogue marketing and CRM. Before this Schültke held a variety of management positions at Publicis, initially as founder and manager of Publicis Dialog in Frankfurt, and subsequently as MD of Publicis Hamburg, CMO of Publicis Germany and network director of Publicis Worldwide.

“Florian is a genuine entrepreneur and all-rounder, and with over 20 years of experience in practically all subfields of the communications sector he is a true brand professional,” commented Geraghty. “With his broad range of competencies in the sector and his international experience, he brings an integrated perspective to the challenges our clients face.”

Schültke added: “I see myself as a generalist – over the course of my career, I have worked with national and international clients in practically all aspects of communications. In the role of managing director of Landor in Hamburg, I can now focus my background and experience to its most logical application: the core of the brand.”

The appointment commences as of next month.
