James Blunt has staged a one man attack on his Twitter trolls, personally responding to negative comments users have posted about him on the social networking site.
Earlier this week, in an interview with The Mirror to promote his new album 'Bonfire Heart', Blunt said he often sought out his trolls to re-tweet.
Blunt commented: "I'll read comments on Twitter which are often quite negative, but it seems to be this security in people's bedrooms where it's okay to write such aggressive things behind their computer screens.
"But the moment you look someone in the eye and confront them, they usually say, 'Oh s**t, I'm so sorry, I don't mean any of it'. They just want to be part of the pack. But it doesn't seem to bother me. Actually I quite enjoy looking for that one really funny and horrific comment to re-tweet."
And it seems quite a few Tweets have been amusing Blunt over the last few days, here are some of his best replies:
Thanks! Whole album out next Mon! RT @DeirdreHipwell: Have managed to avoid James blunt's new song until now. Bonfire Heart is truly awful.
