Celebrity curated e-commerce platform tothetops.com launches in Europe with backing from Liz Earle and Patrick Vieira

Liz Earle, Kimberly Wyatt, Bip Ling, Ben and Tamara Fogle, and Patrick Vieira are just some of the names lending their support to e-commerce platform tothetops.com.

The social shopping destination where users can browse, buy, connect and share goods curated by celebrity industry insiders and experts has launched in the UK, France and Scandinavia after success in the US.

In adapting the concept to Europe, tothetops.com is seeking to highlight product experts more strongly and focus more on quality and innovation.

Of the launch Vincent Redrado, CEO of tothetops.com, said: “The US has perhaps a stronger start and mass market culture, whereas we feel that in Europe the technical credibility of real sector experts and the innovation and quality of products will be the key.”

Shoppers can sign up to the site and follow their selected experts who take the role of personal shopper, updating ‘mini shop fronts’ with new products as well as sharing their discoveries with personal anecdotes and handy tips to create a personalised shopping experience.

Former BBC executive Red Johnson will be heading up the UK operation hoping to match the success of the US division which raised over $300m in sales in 2012 and boasts top celebrity and expert collaborations with Justin Timberlake, Kate Bosworth, Serena Williams and Martha Stewart.
