Colorplan reveals new swatch book and website design from GF Smith

Premium uncoated coloured papers and boards range Colorplan has worked with GF Smith on a new swatch book and website design in a bid to engage and inspire the design audience who specify the product.

The cover of the new swatch book aims to represent the range’s three signature aspects - colour, weight and embossing. Circles have been inlayed into the cover using the technique of ‘paper marquetry’ and inside the book documents a journey through the range. GF Smith has decided to move away from the traditional gridded selector using a design more akin to a book. Embossing textures have also been shown in black and white to allow the user to understand how the paper will hold a texture.

The new website design has been developed to encourage users to explore and play with the full palette and versatility of the range and has been primarily designed as a toll to appreciate the papers qualities and colours.
