Bloom expands with two senior appointments

Bloom has announced two new senior appointments as Christian McAvoy joins as head of project management and Philip Bennison is named as head of development.

Prior to joining Bloom McAvoy held a project management role at Sky Sports Digital and brings with him experience of multi-channel development. His new role will see him responsible for continual improvement across project management in the agency.

Bennison’s role will see him leading a team of 11 and working across international projects, as he joins the agency from Clownfish.

The agency has also revealed it is to add seven new team members, boosting account management, development and search.

Speaking of Bloom’s growth, Alex Craven, chief executive at Bloom, commented: “Bloom’s success is built on great people. We are growing by attracting real talent and this, in turn, is helping us win great clients. As we continue to expand our integrated offering, I believe we will be uniquely placed to deliver data led, creative and engaging campaigns that truly deliver.”

New team members also include Alex Fisher, search and social executive, Jennifer Evans, senior account manager, Sarah Hackett, project executive, Sam Jenkins, developer, Fay Nyberg, copywriter, Amy Tootell, account manager, Harshad Patel, UI developer and Kelly Scholey, junior interface developer.
