The Telegraph drops ‘Toddler extremism’ headline above image of Prince George
The Telegraph has moved to swiftly substitute the word ‘toddlers’ for ‘nurseries’ in a a headline warning of the latest threats of extremism – owing to unfortunate proximity to an image of the smiling Prince George.
Rather than a subversive account of dastardly parenting on the part of William and Kate the faux pas rather stemmed from an unfortunate sub editor’s placement decision.
The headline held just long enough to spark amusement from some social media users however, with one Twitter user remarking: “What a shame, @Telegraph update their front page after initial fail.”
