UsVsTh3m, Trinity Mirror’s digital humour and entertainment publishing brand, has seized a piece of the Eurovision pie ahead of tonight’s live final.

The ‘Eurosong Generator’ (which is actually a nice bit of native advertising for Blinkbox) allows users to get in on the fun creating their own Eurovision entry in the competition’s ‘signature’ style.

In order to create your own customised Eurovision entry, the generator allows you to pick your country, up to four band members, your musical genre (options include Reggae, 90s Dance, 70s Disco, Europop and Glam Rock amongst others), and a song topic ranging from the fairly-normal (Love, Peace) to the ridiculous (Grandma, Kittens, Cake).

Going the extra mile the generator also enables you to pick clothing and accessories for your band as well as a performance gimmick, for example Balloons, Smartphone, Candles, or the epic Bucks Fizz.
As much as we hope this year’s British entry Molly Smitten-Downes can reverse our previous fortunes, given past performances we can’t help but wonder if the UK would have more luck sending one of the Eurosong Generator’s creations next year…
