How the Ashes England and Australia teams line up on Twitter
The England cricket team is beating the Australian team ahead of the first Ashes test match…on Twitter at least.
Research from Cake has discovered that mentions of individual players on the England team were much higher than those of the Australian team in the week prior to 20 November.
Kevin Pietersen came on top of the England team, with 16,038 mentions, while Mitchell Johnston led the Australian side with 3,136 mentions.
