Brave has unveiled a frightful Facebook app for Halloween, where participants are pitted against an interactive Halloween themed quiz to either win a treat or have their account ‘hacked’ for embarrassing posts.

Questions in the quiz range from the banal ‘What’s the most common murder weapon in horror films?’ through to the more personalised question ‘Which of my friends is the most likely serial killer?’

Ash Bendelow, MD of Brave, said: “We were astonished to discover that no-one has taken the much-loved Halloween tradition of Trick and Treating and socialised it. Consequently, we felt it was our duty to discover the digital version of ‘being egged’, and create something fun and a little bit naughty to spice up Halloween for those that are brave enough!”

The final score dictates whether the player is tricked into committing ‘social suicide’ or treated.
