Suitable Technologies Beam device displayed at SXSW
Remote presence device Beam, by Suitable Technologies, was shown off at this year’s SXSW: showing the world how to be in two places at once.
The device, which costs a mere $16,000, features a 17-inch screen and a 1.58m frame, so the ‘face’ and ‘body’ are human sized.
It also includes two wide-angle HD cameras, in-built speaks and a speed of three miles per hour.
