com, and global edutech leader QS Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) launch global social media strategy aimed at promoting their mission to higher education and student communities.

Their announcement includes a new partnership with AgencyUK aimed at accelerating their social media presence. QS is the world’s leading provider of services, analytics, and insights to the global higher education sector and famed for its university rankings, which have become the annual benchmark for universities around the world.

AgencyUK were selected as partners in response to the QS management team recognising a steep rise in the importance of social media for brand awareness since the pandemic.

AgencyUK have been asked to develop their organic social media strategy aimed at their higher education and student communities around the world. This large scale global strategy requires a completely new programme of social media content.

The social media division is overseen by Tim Edwards, chief marketing officer at QS. Their objective is to support, unite, develop and promote their companies mission - which is to empower motivated people anywhere in the world to fulfil their potential through educational achievement, international mobility and career development.

Tim Edwards said: “We were looking for an agency with strong strategic and creative capabilities and a track record in disrupting competitive markets. QS has grown rapidly through a combination of new product development and corporate acquisition, but we remain focussed on maintaining our market leader position, and to do so means being closer to our target audiences and continually investing in channel marketing.’’

The first wave of activity undertaken includes creative that is powered by education sector insights gathered from their world-leading market research and data analysis. The strategy will extend into the development of a global strategy and social media content plan rolled out in partnership with the QS central marketing team.

AgencyUK are an independent brand communications agency with 32 staff based in the UK. The company has demonstrated 200% growth over the pandemic period, largely attributed to the expansion of their healthcare portfolio. QS is the fifth global account win in the past 12 months.
