The agency’s increased London presence will not only give them the opportunity to be closer to their growing London client base but also recruit London-based talent, creating new job opportunities in the near future. Initially, a team of ten staff will be permanently based at the new location.

The opening of the second office space and the hiring of new recruits has been achieved as a result of numerous high-profile client wins and a strong first half of the year for the agency.

Previously working at Aira, Alex Koujan joins the team as head of client success and Murray Watkins joins as a client success manager.

Having recently been named Biddable Team of the Year at the 2021 Drum Awards for Search, Impression has welcomed six new additions to its paid media team.

Mike Wickham (paid media lead) joins with ten years of experience in the industry, including time in a senior role at ForwardPMX, and Yasmin Williams (senior paid media strategist) joins from Merkle, formerly Periscopix.

Ben Ross joins as a paid social specialist; Owen O’Loughlin joins as a PPC specialist; Cagla Caltili and Tom Francis both join as paid media executives; and Jonathan Herrick joins as a paid media analyst.

Alex Aldrich, formerly at Zazzle, has been brought in as a digital PR lead. Gemma Flinders (digital PR specialist) joins the team having previously worked at Rise at Seven and Receptional, while Ceryn Morris (digital PR executive) comes from traditional PR agency Tank. Ellie Wright (digital PR analyst) joins fresh from university.

Rhianne Moriarty, Luca Hargrave and Luke Davis joined earlier this year as SEO executives.

Tom Craig, co-founder of Impression, says: “We are delighted to welcome all of our new starters, some of whom have been here for a few months now and have really hit the ground running. We’re still hiring for several new roles across our teams and truly believe it’s a really exciting time to join us.

“We are particularly excited about our second office space. Our growing London presence marks a huge step forward in Impression’s growth and will support our rapidly growing client portfolio. We’re looking forward to the year ahead.”

Impression, which now employs almost 70 staff, reports that it is on target to achieve 50% year-on-year growth by the end of this financial year.
