Prior to joining Cult in June 2019, Glasgall was a senior producer at Endelman.

He is currently based out of New York and has worked across various accounts, including Sally Hansen, Kopari, Yula and Rodan & Fields, sharing his extensive experience in video production, photo production, 2D and 3D animation and CGI.

Speaking of his time at Cult so far, Glasgall said: “The experiences I’ve had in the last year and a half have been some of the most rewarding and challenging of my career so far. It’s been incredible to work with such a creative and dynamic team in both London and New York.

“I look forward to leading Cult’s production offering and continuing to create smart, beautiful work for our clients while partnering with the best creative talent in Europe and the US.

“Cult is focusing on growth and expanding its production department in 2021, evolving its production capabilities and working to utilize new technologies in the AR/VR space for existing clients and beyond.

“Covid-19 has thrown both the creative and production world a huge curveball, but Cult has found a way to gracefully pivot and continue to deliver to clients without having to compromise on quality, craft or creativity.

“At the beginning of the pandemic, the agency shifted to remote productions, focusing on CGI and animation when in-person shoots were impossible.

“As regulations softened, Cult quickly moved into Covid-safe in-person shoots. Moving forward, the agency will continue to stay nimble and adapt as the landscape of agency life and real-world events continues to grow and evolve.“

Bridey Lipscombe, managing director and co-founder of Cult, said: “Alec has played a pivotal role in helping us to re-think at pace our production model, setting us up for success across many international shoots throughout this Covid year.

“Alec is an incredible talent and I am thrilled that he will be taking on the role of head of production as we continue to rethink the production model of the future and continue our US expansion.”

Glasgall’s appointment is effective immediately. Based in New York, he will oversee all of Cult’s productions globally, and will be responsible for all aspects of production for Cult’s clients.
