The month of Ramadan is considered as the holiest month by the Muslim community

To mark the start of the holy month, Bath & Body Works Arabia in collaboration with alivenow – an official Instagram Spark AR partner, developed a very interesting Ramadan themed AR game. Making use of the principle of surface tracking, users were prompted to place a grid of cards in their environment, where they have to tap and match images of beautiful products within 25 seconds to set a high score.

Coupled with a soothing music track, the filter gave users an opportunity to take beautiful pictures and record lovely messages and Ramadan wishes that they could share with friends & family.

Bath & Body Works invites everyone to be a part of this sacred celebration by giving audiences a chance to become brand ambassadors of the brand and become a part of the brand’s journey. This one of a kind AR engagement allowed people to interact, take pictures & record videos with Ramadan Greetings and decorative lanterns placed inside a themed frame.

Amjad Al Shaiah, digital marketing manager – Bath & Body Works, shared, "As a Brand we aim to explore new digital initiative and keep customer engagement as top priority by implementing our goal of making fragrance fun experience for everyone."
