Spring Break, a federal holiday? A certain Jersey Shore star would say “yeah, buddy” to that idea. In Dave & Buster’s latest campaign, DJ Pauly D ditches his DJ booth for a presidential podium to make this vision a reality.

In a campaign to ensure everyone has time off to play, Dave & Buster’s has enlisted the help of none other than DJ Pauly D, the man who knows how to fist pump his way through a good time.

The campaign, aptly named ‘Spring Break for All,’ is spearheaded by the restaurant-arcade chain’s new chief marketing officer, Megan Tobin, who previously served as head of marketing at influencer commerce platform LTK.

As the spot opens, the Jersey Shore star and DJ confidently strides to the podium like a seasoned politician, to bring forth the political revolution we never knew we needed. In his platform, Pauly D proposes people of all ages to join the movement and enjoy some much-deserved PTO (which in this case, stands for “Play Time On”).

He also urges the masses to sign a petition for the ultimate cause: making the week of Spring Break a national holiday. Consumers can sign the actual petition at www.daveandbusters.com/us/en/newsletter-subscription/sbmovement.

The new campaign promotes Dave & Busters’ new Spring Break offer, a new ‘All-Inclusive Spring Break Pass’ for $8 a day for 10 days of unlimited games and free chips & queso. It also ushers in the ‘4 SHO’ Spring Break Menu,’ inspired by Pauly D, offering New DJ Pauly D Cooladas, New Funnel Cake Fries and Bacardi Mai Tans.

The campaign was led by creative agency Mother. The spots will run across linear TV, digital, social and with additional influencer support.
