Olipop’s ‘Dream Gig’ seeks ‘Senior Soda Consultants,’ offers up to $40,000 payouts

Are you a content creator seeking to turn your love for soda into a paying gig? Olipop’s latest campaign just might be the dream job you’ve been waiting for.

In a fizzy twist of employment fate, Olipop, a prebiotic soda company, has popped the lid on its latest campaign: the ‘Dream Gig.’

The quirky quest involves scouting for two “real besties” who not only share an unwavering love for soda, but can also create content that sparkles as much as their favorite beverage.

The job title? “Senior Soda Consultants.”

The perks? From April 5-10, the Senior Soda Consultants will be paid $10,000 for each city they tour (up to four cities nationwide), with all expenses covered, including airfare, accommodations, meals and even a daily stipend. The first stop, which hasn’t yet been disclosed, is an East Coast destination in April.

Who’s the ideal candidate? Olipop is looking for a dynamic duo who loves soda, is savvy at content creation and ready to traverse the country for five days.

“We just debuted our largest [out-of-home campaign] to date, kicking off in Miami,” says Chad Wilson, Olipop’s head of marketing.

“With four more cities ahead (in cities we want to surprise and delight in), we wanted to make sure we not only engaged those local communities, but brought that engagement to a national and digital level. We love tapping into our community and wanted to create an opportunity to connect best friends, as soda is intertwined with culture and ignites nostalgia for so many consumers. We felt this was a perfect opportunity to invite our loyal and beloved brand fans to join in on the fun - with two best friends getting a great side gig out of it.”

The campaign was ideated and developed in-house by Olipop. It will live on the brand’s job posting landing page (, TikTok and Instagram pages, and of course, LinkedIn.
