The awareness campaign promotes the idea that adults should nurture their relationships with their minds like they do their closest personal relationships.

The Ad Council, a nonprofit that creates public service announcements, in partnership with Salt Lake City-based psychiatric branch The Huntsman Mental Health Institute, has released what it calls its “most ambitious national mental health campaign to date.”

‘Love, Your Mind’ is an English and Spanish PSA that strives to show adults in the US that they are not alone in their struggles and that they should be “more open, accepting and proactive” when it comes to taking care of their mental health. The universal power of love is leveraged to encourage viewers to treat their mental health as a partnership deserving of care and attention.

The work is expected to resonate with a sizeable audience; according to 2023 data from Mental Health America, some 50 million adults in the US are experiencing at least one mental illness.

As part of the campaign, Ad Council also launched free mental health resources available at www.LoveYourMindToday.org or ConAmorTuMente.org.

The creative was co-led by FCB New York and FCB Chicago, directed by award-winning Calmatic and co-produced by project3 and Prettybird.
