Tinder dreams up new possibilities in 3 cinematic spots from Mischief
The app that popularized ‘swiping’ as we know it is making one thing clear: endless experiences and opportunities start with a swipe.
Tinder has launched three new dreamy, highly saturated 15-second ads that tap into the endless possibilities that the dating app can deliver – everything from an unexpectedly nice sleepover to a summer-fling-turned-lasting-romance.
The films represent the latest installation of ‘It Starts With a Swipe,’ a gen-Z-focused brand messaging platform which rolled out earlier this year with an ethereal campaign.

The new spots, dubbed ‘Summer Fling,’ ‘Breakfast Boy’ and ‘You Took Him Home,’ leverage the same aesthetic while exploring the range of experiences that young people can find on Tinder.
"Possibilities are at the center of this global Tinder campaign; whether that’s a one night stand, summer love or something that turns into a long-term relationship,” said the brand’s global chief marketer Melissa Hobley, in a statement. “We've cracked a brand platform for the long term that truly reflects the bold, unapologetic and unignorable shift in how youth culture approaches dating and relationships.”
The campaign was developed in partnership with New York-based creative agency Mischief @ No Fixed Address.
Hobley, for her part, is pleased with the results: “Mischief nailed the vision and message in placing a big bet on showing all of the unique adventures that people find on Tinder through really striking, fun creative that invites gen Z to come swipe through their own possibilities.”
The new ads will run across connected TV, online video, social and digital.
