The animated short is warm and captures the humor of Enid Blyton’s books.

Creative agency Adam&EveDDB is bringing the Famous Five back to screens for their first adventure on Great Western Railway since 2020.

‘Five Get There First’ sees Uncle Quentin and Aunt Fanny waving goodbye to the children as they all set off for a day at the beach. Creating a little bit of competition Uncle Quentin shouts ‘Last one there is a rotten egg’. The race is on. The parents take the car. The children are on the train. And one works out better than the other.

The campaign is the fourth to feature the Famous Five and also includes out-of-home and digital out-of-home, press and online. Media planning and buying were handled by The7stars.

Ben Tollett, group executive creative director at Adam&EveDDB, said: “We couldn't be prouder to present yet another high-energy caper from the Famous Five. This time the gang race to the beach, while Aunt Fanny and Uncle Quentin find trouble in taking the car.”
