The public service announcement has been created pro-bono for Ad Council, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and Jed Foundation.

The Ad Council has released a relatable PSA to encourage young people to talk about their mental health. In partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and The Jed Foundation, the spot hopes to promote mental wellness while decreasing the risk and rate of suicide among youths.

Targeting Black, Hispanic and Latine people, ‘We Can Talk About It’ shows a variety of youngsters who feel isolated in their thoughts as their loved ones don’t seem to believe the gravity of their mental health struggles. As the video concludes viewers see that, through open conversations, a weight begins to lift off of the young adults’ shoulders.

The spot was created pro-bono by Droga5 and will be rolled out nationwide across all media platforms, including broadcast, digital, social, out-of-home (OOH) and print.
