Dating app Bumble has released a campaign that highlights the rush of excitement that happens when chatting with someone new.

Titled ‘Find That Feeling,’ the short ad follows the journey of a young woman and man who match on Bumble. As they message back and forth throughout the day it becomes apparent they have lots of things in common – like going to the gym and hitting up cafes.

After eventually meeting up in real life, the duo finds there’s something between them. The commercial closes with the pair sharing a kiss.

“We all know the feeling of that first spark, the feeling of excitement and opportunity with a new love interest. Often, the difficulty comes from not knowing enough about someone to know what to connect over, whether it’s a shared approach to life, a favorite hobby or pastime, or a music genre,” said Naomi Walkland, vice-president for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Bumble.

“With this campaign, we want to celebrate that feeling of connecting and encourage people on Bumble to show up and share as much about themselves as possible using our prompts, interest badges and features so they too can find that feeling.”

Created in collaboration with 72andSunny Amsterdam, the campaign has been rolled out in the UK and Germany, with a further eight countries launching from next week, including France, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Israel, Australia and New Zealand.

Directed by Milan-based Giada Bossi, the ad is the first in a series that will include hundreds of different videos that all showcase that spark in different ways, with different couples, in six languages.
